Samuel Ericsson, J.D.

Sam Ericsson is the founding President and CEO of Advocates International, an organization through which he has developed an international network of lawyers, judges, and national leaders linking 135 nations focused on religious freedom, human rights, conflict resolution, and professional integrity. He has additionally served as executive director of the Christian Legal Society and director of the Center for Law and Religious Freedom of the Christian Legal Society. Ericsson is an advisor for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Helsinki Commission. He has participated in 50 briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court on church-state matters, and has contributed in drafting laws impacting religious freedom in more than a dozen countries.
